untenable i know why don't you
tell me what you wanna say
let you in another way
i can’t take you as the enemy
oh i can’t take you when ya suffering’ either
that where we wanna be ?
thinking of ways that we could come apart
i’ve been numbing that dominion from the start
ritual stove touch
thinking of ways the we could come apart
when I don’t want to come apart
sthat how you gonna start with me?
take it, want you want from me
so tell me how you won the battle when you lost the war
(tell me how you )wanna walk away or walk the floor?
hell you have it all and all you want is wanting more
well I’m making it known
i’ll carry your world if I can
vent in all these sounds
tell you, won’t be long
falling, well you aren’t wanting me neither
and then tell me you would follow me anywhere I lead
thinking of ways the we could come apart
when I don’t want to come apart
tell me what you want from me
take it, want you want from me
tell me how you won the battle when you lost the war
(tell me how you )wanna walk away or walk the floor?
hell you have it all and all you want is wanting more
i’m letting it roll
i’m letting it go
and when you can’t let go
i know i know i know i know
that it’s a prison, love
to be at every beck and call
it’s bigger than us both
and you can’t face it on your own
don’t face it alone
so when you can’t let go
don’t go it alone
This album is a wild ride. Almost every attempted blend of genre and moods lands right on point. I have a special soft spot for The Floor Is Lava- such an authentic representation of childhood nostalgia. Neunauge
Most of this album is a collection of clever and catchy musical ideas from the realms of jazz, electronic, and experimental music; but the title track is something else entirely. It's a beautiful work of art with danceable drums and synths establishing a floor for Justice Cow to tell a story about her perspective with her beautiful voice. This is artpop if I have ever heard music that could be described as such. dharmalogos
An absolutely GORGEOUS record. Shades of Kate Bush with lovely vocals and unique arrangements. Quality pop music meant for sophisticated palates. CirdecSongs (Cedric Hendrix)
Pickle Darling looks to the sky on sweet, outer space-inspired LP, elevating their bedroom pop prowess further than ever before. Bandcamp Album of the Day May 25, 2021
Faye's music makes me want to make more art, enjoy more art, and protect art and those who create it. Cannot wait to see where she goes, I know I will LOVE all of Ozu, not just the early ;) bloopymusic
